Our Mission

The purpose  of ACSEC is to support families of officials in the External Service of the Commission by addressing issues linked to life in delegations and in Brussels by providing information on life at post, relevant services of the Commission and, by encouraging the Commission to implement family-friendly policies in areas such as health, education, housing and employment opportunities for spouses.

Mission de l’ACSEC:

Aider les familles des fonctionnaires du Service Extérieur de la Commission Européenne en traitant les problémes liés à la vie en délégation et à Bruxelles; en donnant des informations sur la vie en délégation et sur les services compétents de la Commission.
Encourager la Commission d’adopter des politiques favorisant la famille dans des domaines comme la santé, l’éducation, le logement et les possibilités de travail pour les conjoints.

Membership is open to all spouses or partners of officials, including contract agents, of the External Service of the European Commission.
